Indochili Restaurant Review

Yea, i am so happy to be invited over to indochili to review about my hometown(indonesian) cuisine!! Dining over at indochili was fantastic the ambience, food and service!! If you are a person who can't really take too spicy stuff you can actually request from the staff that you want less spicy they are able to cater to your needs! Cos they freshly cook the food once you place your order.. than you must be thinking will your food take longer time to serve? hahahaha.. to my surprise the food was serve quite fast!!

view from the cashier counter

other the sits they have sofa area for dining also
bought dear dear along for my review this time round, all thanks to indochili for allowing me to bring one more person
with me(:

while waiting for our food to arrive we were being serve the traditional Indonesia snacks.
Jus Alpukat (Fresh Avocado Juice) $6.80
I have intro by this drink by my dad he made this at home for us. It's kind of a traditional indonesian drink to me, will order this when ever i go dinning at a indonesian restaurant. this is with chocolate sauce but i think it will go better with coconut sugar! anyway i just love drinking avocado juice. do you know that avocado is good for health? http://www.healthdiaries.com/eatthis/10-health-benefits-of-avocados.html
Frape Choco $7.80
they have modern drinks also!! if you are a chocolate drink lover you should try this.. really very impressive. i nv really like chocolate drink cos they are all very sweet but this is just nice!!

They have 2 kind of rice one is the normal plain rice and one in yellow is lemongrass rice!! I quite like the lemongrass rice (if you have read my other post on thai food you will know that i am a big fan of lemongrass stuff) the lemongrass rice lemongrass smell wasn't very strong. Give it a try when you drop by, it's very special to me(:

Sate Ayam Medura $7.80
you must be thinking.. Oh, satay! yes it is.. but it's different from those we had from food center. those we had from food center is abit oily and the sauce is more spicy. This is abit sweet cos they have sweet soy sauce in the peanut sauce and the peanut in e sauce is much of fragrance. As for the meat is kind of like hand made to me cos is different from those we usual had the from food center.

Cumi Balado (Squid) $13.80
when this dish arrive i was thinking, must be very spicy lar.. but when i try it i was like.. not really very spicy la~ it taste abit sweet in the spiciness!! they have other one which is glaze with sweet sauce de.. so missing the taste of it.

Cah Kangkung $8.80
normally dear dear don't really eat vegetable but surprising he ate quite alot of this that day! i must say that they really cook this in a very unique way. (sorry can't explain this out, go give it a try out)

Ikan Bakar Bali $31.80
Grilled snapper fish with a very bali feel, it comes with alot of spices fragrant! e best part is i don't usually eat fried fish cos e meat will be usually dry and hard but this is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! one side is with a thin layer of chili (as you can see on the picture) the other side is without chili.

Sayur Asem $3.80
It's actually indonesia traditional mixed vegetable soup, everything is the soup can be eaten! the taste of it is abit sour/sweet/spicy~ totally something to boost your appetite!

Kue Lapis Legit $1.90
Lapis Legit Plum $2.00
Lapis Legit Surabaya $2.20
i think we have had this before cos bengawan solo is selling this too.. but those at bengawan solo not very traditional (personal view). My favorite flavor is the one with plum(:

Lastly thank you indochili for having us down, really very grateful~
